About the Module

There's always need for some method that displays "what other things we have" on the site and make proper suggestions to the visitors.

BBC News web site was a great starting point and inspiration of this module. BBC News uses simple yet very successful "content funneling" via vignettes.

The requirement is straightforward but the solution is not easy. Especially the deployment of the solution requires complex tasks.

We tried to reduce these complex tasks into a few manageable ones. Also we made it easy by providing all kinds of resources and a very comprehensive Help File.

"The Funnel" as a SEO Tool

If you are concerned with SEO (Search Engine Optimization), surely you are concerned with the visitor traffic to your site.

Today, "site hits" or "unique page" view figures are not just enough to evaluate the popularity of a web site. Another criteria is equally if not more important : "Average Time on Site".

It doesn't matter how attractive and popular your "Landing Page" is. If the visitors just leave your site after viewing the "Landing Page", your "Average Time on Site" figure slumps. This severely affects your site's popularity and search engine visibility.

You should just "make your visitors stay longer" and "visit some other pages" on your site.

"The Funnel" just does it. The module is clean, simple but just hits the target.

Conversion Funnel

A desired conversion path defined by a marketer or website owner.

The "conversion funnel" is generally a linear, stepby-step process leading directly from site entry to "conversion".

It is conceptualized as a funnel shape because some users will depart from the path, leaving fewer users at the end than were at the beginning, while others will be “funneled” into completing a transaction.
